Digital Assessment Customisation

Customisation tools to meet your unique requirements

An important tenet of our solution is the idea that every customer should have the opportunity to tailor their assessments to their own unique requirements.

We also believe that starting from a clean piece of paper can be daunting and having examples of assessments, questions that you can use as the basis can be a great first step.

How to Customise Your Assessments

Step 1: Define the Goal / Purpose

What is the end result you are looking for?

  • Who will want to see the results (multiple people, multiple perspectives (e.g. Executive / High Level, Subject matter expert / detailed level)?
  • Will any third parties see the results (e.g. regulators, clients (showing how good you are in an area))?
  • Who will be completing the assessments (e.g. departments, regions, individuals, subcontractors, clients/prospective)?
  • What do you want to measure (e.g. maturity, readiness towards a standard, level)?
  • Do the questions group into categories?
  • Is there a hierarchy of categories?

Step 2: Create the Structure

Categories

  • Three levels available
  • Hierarchical – two or three levels – would give multiple levels of reporting/detail.
  • Not-linked – would give multiple perspectives using the same data (e.g. one level could be related to lifecycle, another level could link to regulation)
  • Create What and Why media to help recipients understand the context or what best practice is.

Area – add a new one?

Note Codes – add new ones?

Step 3: Create / Import Questions

Two Options

  1. Use the App (most suitable if you have a few Questions)
    • Create each Question in the app
    • Select the options setup in previous step relevant to each question
  2. Import
    • Download all the files which include the categories etc setup in the previous step
    • Copy / paste the questions into the correct field in the spreadsheet and add the values for all the columns, using the files downloaded

Step 4: Create Assessment Template(s)

Considerations

  • Purpose (e.g. Test (you may want to give limited time per question), Train / Drive Consistency / Best Practice)
  • Complete (one assessment template) or broken into building blocks that can be used individually or combined
  • Length of each Assessment
  • Audience (user, mgmt, exec, sme)
